My Little Westie was featured at The Sunday Times, Classified Pg C3 on 16 October

It was a Sunday Morning and I was reading The Sunday Time on 16 October.

Flipping through the Classified, I was trying to look at the Pet's Corner and I saw my Dear Westie. He was on the papers and I showed him the papers and told him that :"Westie, you're are on the paper" Guess what? He is more interested in playing his toys.

He is always my Superdog.

How did you get your name Westie?

Before Mommy got me, she plan for my name first. My Mommy thinks that Westie name originally is already cute and suits me the most, some more my real breed is Westie, so she called me Westie at all times. She often calls me all types of nick name like ‘Stie stie’, Ti Ti, Wa-stie.. etc..

How old are you?

I am a puppy still.. still can have reason that I am playful and naughty. I am 8 months old soon.

How did your Mommy come to own you?
Well, mommy have been looking for a Westie and doing lots of research and went down lots of pet shop, pet farm to look for a Westie. It was then she went to a pet shop located at Tiong Bahru and she couldn’t resist me.. cos she think that I am cute and handsome, so she bought me!

Describe your relationship with your 'Mommy'

She loves me a lot. She groomed me at least once a day, feed me food, apples, milk and play with me. She can be fierce at times when I am naughty as I bite her things. I remembered there is one time I make her most angry is when I bite her teddy bear around.. Now I don’t dare.. I cannot mess with her cos if I do.. I will not have free grooming session. Oh ya... she nags alot.. so is daddy cannot tahan too!.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Free time when I’m home, I like to eat, play, and sleep. If mommy and daddy is free, they will bring me for a walk. I enjoyed car rides lots to places like ECP, Changi rides, east coast park, tanjong rhu.. and so on.

What do you normally do on weekends?

Of cos a walk. I love outings.

What is your favourite time of day?

My favourite time of day is actually Afternoon when Mommy is back from school. She plays with me. I love walks too.. I love my mommy lots!

I Love West Highland White Terrier!!!

Surfing in the internet for West Highland White Terrier (Westie) picture and I came across this nice picture. Arghh... the three adorable ones... aren't they super cute?? I Love their cut.. that's Westie Cut!! I intend to bring my westie to cut this style when he grew bigger and when his fur is longer.. They are all so cute.. Will my westie turn out to be so handsome? lolz..


Westie is now seven and a half months coming to 8 months old on 20 November.. oh ya.. he's an aries.. lolz. Now westie is going through the stage whereby he need to change adult food soon.. now he kinda reject puppy food and i intend to buy him solid gold fish dry food for him..

Westie the puppy is 3 Months old.. so glad that he grew bigger and stronger.. love his act blur look.. He is still as naughty as before...

My Puppy

It was fate that brought my puppy and me together.

On 5 June 2005, i am officially an owner of a 16 weeks west highland white terrier. He was purchased from a pet shop near tiong bahru. I remembered how i first saw him.. he was mischeviously playing with his siblings.. one brother and one sister.. they were all so cute. Before I got the dog, I've already plan what his name will be. 'WESTIE', it's his short form name from West Highland white Terrier.. i find that this name is cute, describes him most, so from that day onwards, he will have a shelter, food and drinks, a family to play with and a name.

I bought westie alot of stuff to make him feel 'home' which were the Puppy food, toys, clothing, shampoo, conditioner, dental toothpaste, toothbrush, combs, treats, bones, collars, leashes, calcium pills, bed, water containers.. and so on..

Westie is also a licenced dog! I've apply dog licence for him to make him a dog citizen of Singapore.. =)

Westie was not house-broken and I have to start off my house training with him.. it was tedious.. I confined him in a play pen with newspaper and sprayed housebreaking aid to help him .. but it don't works.. guess what? instead of peeing on the newspaper.. he chew the newspaper... =/ so i removed the newspaper and he peed on the floor.. I recalled that I have to mop the floor for 10+ times a day.. arghh..

Step by step.. whenever he pee or poo on the floor.. i will reprimand him and direct him to the right place to do his business.. It was then after months.. westie learned to pee on the pee tray which is located in the kitchen. I guess he wanted to stop me from nagging.. so he always do the right thing!
